The second week was marked by several Informals and tough negotiations. Improvements were very slow and political debates about the situation in several world regions took valuable time to improve the wording of the text.
The next Draft Resolution will be circulated on Monday and although I am not in New York anymore, I will have the chance to further comment and influence the process.
Looking back I have to say, that 2 weeks at the UN are extremly exhausting and many of us youth delegates got either sick or were desperately trying to catch up on some sleep. Our coordination meetings were very valuable, but I feel that the communication with other non youth delegate states could have been improved. Switzerland has tried to do this several times especially with Mexico and France.
After the GA I am now busy writing reports and preparing the next national events.
The last two months have started!
